Love to hear more A 17-year-old Nigerian girl, Stephanie Ossai, from Delta state, has emerged one of the best students in last year’s Senior Secondary School final examination in South Africa, passing with five distinctions. it’s called the matriculation results and for 2012, a 73.9%pass rate has been announced by the basic education minister. http://livebetalife.com/17-years-old-nigerian-girl-excels-in-south-africas-matric-exam/ |

The fact remains that the ability to excel is resident within every Nigerian Child but some choose to leave it unexplored. Success is in our genetic make up. Kudos to Ms. Steph Osai for re-enacting this belief once more. |

Livebetalife: Your ability to succeed depends on yourselve, not ur country, state ,government or parent I disagree with you here. Few people will excel from personal effort but you need a sound system to move the whole population along. I studied in both Nigeria(BSc) and Europe(MSc) and I can tell you that the basic difference is much. In western countries, the system helps you to develop and perform well but in most African countries, you are on your own with almost no encouragement, motivation or inspiration. |
