Peter Utaka has only 7 caps (most of them as subs), but three goals. Truth is Peter Utaka was never really given a chance, despite being a proven penalty fox.
Besides - I'm not necessarily suggesting Keshi takes him, but just proving that there were much better options than Akpala.

I'm surprised you mentioned I'm mixing up John and Peter.

My only misgiving with him is that he didnt mive to a top league. But again, why Keshi will invite a player like Babatunde from a backyard league and not someone like him is baffling? 9 Caps, mostly as subs, and still managed 3 goals is not bad atall. That's a better ratio than Akpala, Ideye and Ujah.

there's nothing special in peter Utaka. We need a good striker playing in a competitive countries league. All those guys playing in Scandanivian(not sure am right) countries and china are poo. I can remember when peter ijeh was banging goals in sweden, he was called to the Super Eagles but cudn't perform. All dose Ujah,Akpala, are not what we need in the super eagles same as we dont need peter utaka. Its really sad we hardly have strikers in Epl,Spanish,Italian,German,Holland, French League except those weaken countries.... This the time for Keshi to look for a gud strikerz. World cup no be beans

Peter Ijeh played only one game and was thrown to d dustbin. How many games did our emenike play before he started scoring. Sweeden. Norway. Denmark still use players from their league for international meets. We cannot boast of winning any of them. So why not give a tryout to our guys in these leagues?

The first Question we need to ask ourselves is that How many Player do we have and that can Match up with the likes of Suarez, Rooney, Ronaldo and other Great Player But i still believe in the One we are Using Only for them to be more and well organized on the Pitch and When there is no much dedication from all this boys Believe me we cannot Achieve anything as a team.....
