Amosun Sacks TASUED Vice Chancellor, Appoints New VC

The Ogun State Government has relieved the Vice Chancellor of the state owned University of Education; Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Ijagun, Professor Segun Awonusi of his duties and has approved the appointment of Professor Oluyemisi Oluremi as the new Vice-Chancellor.

According to a press statement which did not state the reason for the change and was issued by the secretary to the state government; Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa, Professor Oluremi’s appointment takes immediate effect.

The new VC is a Professor of Education in the Department of Continuing Education; Faculty of Education from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

She holds executive business education certificates of the Harvard Business School and also has a 30-year teaching experience on her resume.

I think he's directing the VC to go handle the air-conditioned overhead bridge he's building

Its simply political, he believes d VC is a close friend to OGD, d former Ogun state gov.
If we dont forget, d VC happened to be d Cmmissioner of education, under OGD administration, later appointed by d same governor as d VC, so, it seems d current governor(Amosun) is bitter towards OGD and his presumed friends, hence, Amosun's action against him.

This is more of politics cos Prof. Segun Is a confirmed PDP Stewart
