Hello All, I recently bought and installed a Strong 4922 HD Decoder. I must confess that I am loving it!!!! However, I'm not done exploring the capabilities of the machine. I just checked behind and to my surprise there is a port for ETHERNET Connection. DOES THIS MEAN I CAN RECIEVE INTERNET DATA WHEN I PLUG INTO A PC/LAPTOP? In other words, can i browse the internet through the decoder? Someone should please guide me. Thanks. |

Daxbiz: Hello All,The Ethernet lan port in ur receiver is to enable any sharing protocol in ur receiver communicate with the its server to decrypt paytv channels. Also to update ur firmware. |

I just bought dz 4922 HD receiver to replace my 4669xii after tekin it to d village. Now dt i use d new 4922, i cnt seems to use it wt my Avata to enable me enjoy my DSTV. but I later borrowed my neighbours 69Z to test my Avata's potence only to find out dt its still working ver well. Pls can any body comfirm if Avata's are compotable wt srt 4922 receivers. |

satelite gurus, im would like to fing out over the channels im receiving, im getting AJezra,sudan and southsudan,jc sports, quatar tvand many more. the satellite shows im @ hotbird 13 degrees East . is it Nilesat or Hotbird? by the the way im using a 1.8m dish with a C band LNB. |

Thanx Satelite Guru,i will give you the freqncs but i was reading about the new yahsat 1A@52.5 deg east. can i access it in Zambia if so what size of dish should i use? any one can help. i will appreciate. |
