The department of Accounting, and some others will soon kick off in UI. The massive building is under construction, thanks to CBN. UI has over the years been very restrictive in the programmes she runs, to ensure qualitative education. Currently, the department under the Faculty of Social Sciences are just 5: Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Geography, and Political Science.

dom: God bless you all. I was in U.I from 96/97 session to 2001/2002 session. Faculty of Law, Tedder Hall HRC Clerk, Choirmaster at the Seat of wisdom Chaplaincy. Currently work with the FCT judiciary in a judicial capacity (lower bench). Schooling in UI (like my parents did) is one of the best things that has happened to me for a lot of reasons. willphem: As long as you have scored 200,u are qualified to apply for the post utme,after which you wait for shortlisting.and when you are shortlisted,your jamb score becomes useless weda u score 390 or 200.then what will give you admission is your post utme score and if you can score 50 in your post utme then admission is sure for you.it may not be in your choice of course but you have admission.but if you want yuor choice of course then prepparation starts now!!!
