Please guys, why is Nigeria called The Giant of Africa? I'm yet to find any cogent reason.

I m also wondering why............maybe it's the giant of tribalism , bribery, corruption, inefficiency, insecurity and instability
Just take a look at where this 'giant' trains law enforcement officers (criminals in uniform) on the front page, it ll tell you how much it values peace and security of life and property

Nigeria is prolly still basking on her past glory. With the present status quo, there's absolutely nothing to epitomise Nigeria as "the Giant of Africa". It's so so unfortunate cry cry
