People seem to mistaken Igbos in the village from Igbos in diaspora. City Igbos are kind of westernized while the ones in the village retain their African culture. Igbos in the village marry very early and bare many children while Igbos in Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt etc tend to marry in their late twenties to mid thirties and bare few children.
