Idacrux: Laughing at some pple here.....if u beta luv ur self just 4get abt Oau because a 4 yr course is 6yrs,shey be if u still pass their bastardized negative marking post-ume exam self,,oau has no meaning to me and so many pple after payin #3700 for pume result checking last yr still nothing to show up;passing oau post-ume is like a donkey passing through d needles eyes irrespective of how brilliant u are.GUDLUCK!!

It's definitely true dat OAU is slow....but about d issue of post-utme i'll have to disagree.....i knw a lot of pple dat wrote d u.t.m.e and got 290+ and 300+ despite sum pple claim d post u.t.m.e is too hard......they are now performing excellently in their fields of study....negative marking or not...if u read and know what u read u'll pass....everything is about preparation.....

Moreover,how will you expect a school with good name,reputation and quality like O.A.U to admit "unserious" and "ordinary" students....their exam must b definitely different and a true test of knowledge even if others universities ar not like dat....O.A.U needs serious and hardworking students!!!...PEACE!!!

there s assurance just let get high mark maybe 5marks above d cut off coz ui guide deir merit list

@t.boy007...if u ar above d cut-off mark there is over 80% possibility u'll b admitted...just make sure u pray nd everything will b alrite...but the most dangerous thing is when u don't meet d cut-off 4 ur course and get no connection....so choose wisely ur Course of choice...

an intimate friend of mine had 236 in his jamb and got 247 in his post ume at oau...he scored higher in his ife post ume than jamb.....

Weldone guys. May God see u thru too. I'm jst one of d newly admitted folks. Though i must say it arent easy getting d admission, bt i must say u shud not put d GOD factor behind. Just read ur books well. Train urself very well. Av a study partner. Dont spend most of ur time browsing or chatting...
Let it keep ringing in u dat there are more than 250 candidates fighting with u for only 1 space in OAU; do what it takes to be there......

I'm talking 4rm experience.
If u'r a science student, ur o-level result(s) must contain credits in English, Math, Chem, Phy, Bio. They'l giv u an edge.
If u'r a Commercial student, ur o-level result(s) must contain English, Math, Government, Account, Economics. They'l giv u a push. Commerce is not that needed.
If u'r an Art student, u need English, Math, Government, CRK, Economics n a subject u'l do additionaly in Jamb.

Thats my little bit of advice. God bless
