Fellow Nairalanders, please which of these bodies taking corpers on project management would you advice a corper to register with; Project Management Professional Institute or International Project Management Professional? Which one would you suggest for a serving corps member to register with for project management professional course and why? Your constructive advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks. |

Thanks to you all, please since there's no credible resource training centre in Nigeria on Pmp as you all claimed, how do i register with PMI and what are the cost implications? Thanks. |

there are many Project management trainers in Nigeria! search nairaland certificate/training section I have no idea how good they are though and i'm not too sure how useful the extra certificate is for new graduates- at least it will keep you busy |

I would advise anyone interested in project management to start off first by getting an MSc in Project Management. Don't be deceived into doing courses with all these dodgy organisations that do not understand basic PM methodologies. 1 Like |

avoid them all! if your're looking for what to spend your alowee on enroll for NIM I don learn my lesson, no employer knows either Ipmp or pmpi.. |

2 funny institutes, don't be deceived, they wld give you outdated lectures and old dums, give u a certificate that is merely paper and you are almost sure to fail the international exam. pmpi uses corpers mainly as facilitators, go learn with a beta institution if u want a career in project management. |

They are birds of feather. I checked thru Pmpi website. U can't believe there's no means of contacting them indicated on d website. No phone number nor email. Both their website and facebook page. Beware of pmp scams! |

IPMP has their head office in Benin city. I don't know how legit they are due to the fee difference from PMI but they are Nigerian registered trainers. |
