And there are limits to which you can blame the players for the result of such a game. You cannot be the ''architect of your own failing'' if you have a man unjustifiably sent off, thus losing a player and forcing you to alter your pattern and team shape, and after you suffer 4 dubious yellow cards, forcing players to walk on egg shells, while emboldening the opposition to engage in further cheating/dives/injury feigns etc. The effect of the injustice tends to build up after a while, and AFFECT YOUR TEAM PERFORMANCE. So you cannot say the team were the architects of their own misfortune. They were playing 10 men against 12 out there.

First I blame CAF, Mali and Burkina faso are literally neighbours. Why the hell would you place a referee from that region in the match against. Its like using a Zimbabwean ref for today's match. Of course there will be bias!
