1----As a parent or guardian you must educate your child boy or girl from the ages of 5-16 on various issues of life.. Teach the child morality, make the child know the kind of actions and gestures someone could do that can bring disrespect and immorality to his or her body, try to show them the part of their body that shouldn't be touched with or without their consent, this kind of advice or talk tend to awaken the child's consciousness....

2---Try to win the trust of a child, that's very Paramount, let him or her know that he can tell you anything without been scolded, reproached or made fun of, with this the child feels very comfortable talking to you, which encourages the child to confide in you and tell those things that will help save him or her from been abused in any form.....

3----Spend more time with your child as a parent or guardian, communicate with her, ask questions, be ready to answer any question the child may have, no matter how stupid they may sound, remember if you don't give her the answer, she might go somewhere else to look for an answer, which could be very dangerous....

4---- Look out for any adult be it uncle, cousin, friend, teacher, step father and neighbour that your child spends most of his or her time with, try as much as possible to avoid leaving your child with such people for too long alone...
If they must be with them they should be there in the company of their siblings or other children, this reduces the chances to the bear-est minimum of your child been abused...

5---A child might not be able to express his or her feelings, it is your duty as a parent to pick the signs you see around you, like when the child is moody, appears scared, anxious, violet, quiet, sad and mun.... These are signs that parents should watch out for in a child, this can lead you as a parent to the root of that very issue or problem your child might be going through....

Educate them. . .
Provide their BASIC needs and teach them to be CONTENT with what they have always.
Never try to bully or intimidate them. . . SO THEY LEARN TO TRUST YOU AS A PARENT THAN SOMEONE THEY MAY FEAR WITH BLACKMAIL!

Teach them HOW TO LOVE THEMSELVES WHEN NO ONE ELSE WILL. . .they are less likely to look for 'love' in the wrong places.
ALWAYS ALLOW YOUR SPOUSE TO LOVE AND CHERISH THEM. . .SO THEY DON'T GO LOOKING FOR FATHER-MOTHER FIGURES IN OLDER MEN AND WOMEN PEDO-PHILIC FIGURES AS COMPENSATION! kiss

Teach your girl child how to clean up after using the toilet early enough e.g from age 4 and above so that no uncle or auntie get them abuse while pretending to be cleaning them up!
