The Kogi State Government has barred female teachers in primary and secondary schools from wearing trousers while at work. State Commissioner for Education, Grace Elebiyo, who gave the directive on Wednesday said whoever violates the directive will face disciplinary action.
According to the Commissioner, "we have dressing code for men and womenin our primary and secondary schools. The women can wear only trouser suits, but any other trouser outside that is not allowed. They can also wear track suits during sport period."

I guess you've never seen skirts, trousers and tracksuits that could drive you nuts. It's not what's worn; it's how you wear it. You can make a raincoat look indecent.

That is the most stupid crap I've ever heard. Other ppl are thinking of how to make education better and we're here focusing on clothes? Oh! And the commisoner is a woman?....kai! Have we covered issues like provision of books? Or other materials for teaching students? Who gives a crap about whether women wear trousers? How does that..........arghhh...u know what? This is why ppl think nigerians are stupid. And yes I'm a woman and proud to be one...thank God I live in a civilized place.
