Ninapha: Are names really fashions too? Names reign and then they go, there was a time Ngozi, Ijeoma, Ade, salimo, Nseobong, Uchenna, Ejiro, seun etc were on d lips of every one, they are rare now!

New names come up now and then, for the igbos names like Kamsiyochukwu,- kamsy, chiziterem-chizzy and d likes are in vogue, which names are common in ur language? And what is d meaning?
the names parents give their children nowadays oluwa is always involved. eg: oluwasola, ifeoluwa, oreoluwa, boluwatife

It will take a celebrated celebrity with that name to redeem the image of that name. Just imagine if Beyoncee changes her name to Mgbeke. Do you know the effect it will have on a lot of people. They'll even forget that the name was used to describe someone that's bush and it will become a posh name.
