I was Interview too,but i cant remember applying for any Call center agent job.anyway I just pray it work sha.i even asked the guy that interview me where is HR index and the company they are recruiting for,he said it right here in Lagos and wont give the name of the company.I just pray we succeed o.

HR simply means Human Resources. So if any one tells you he/she is calling from HR Index, he simply means he`s calling you from that particular Human Resources Department which is responsible 4 recruitment!Com`on guyz!
So diaz absolutely no need going from office to office looking 4 hrindex!

hi lanre,tanxs 4 d clue you gave when i called u.i was also called few hours after i called u,but my questions was where i skooled,my course,current working and salary?.they said, they would get back 2 me.i pray 2 God 2 make it a fruitfull one.

I would want to give you a clue into the recruitment process into MTN call center

1.You get a call to comfirm your interest and check you listening ability and voice over the phone.
2.You come for the next stage which has to do computer skills
3.Go through to the next stage,which is a caricature of what your job entails
4.Oral interview

note:the first 3 stages are subject to your performance i.e at every stage you could be drop if you don't perform.

Just to add to Iginla's post.
Especially for call center job, the caller is looking for your attentiveness, your telephone habit, your telephone courtesy.
If you are one of the people who do not pick your calls on time, there is a problem.
If you are one of the people who answer telephone calls by "Yes who is this", am not sure you will scale true. If you sound too harsh on phone, forget the job, etc.
This first step is the most important especially for all center or public relation management jobs
For people whom the caller told they will call back, the chances are 50-50. They should have given you a definite next line of action detail, maybe date to come over, where to come or date for next step. But if many were dropped, they can call you back.

i received another call from hr index today.it was a very short interview session.the lady who interveiwed me said her client will call me if i scale through the 3rd stage of the interview. i had d first stage of d interveiw on 25-4-2006,2nd interview was 1-5-2006.3rd interview- 1pm today.
what's gonna happen next?could someone help me out?

                            How did u guys get the call from HRindex?Is it from filling the form at the career section of MTN website?I remember clearly filling the form on the web site, but i learnt that double entry of my c.v. would mean instant disqualification.So with this i did not dare fill in again.
                           Please, can someone let me know what process they did to get the call from HR index.Thank you very much.
