Do You Take Threats Seriously? by Viciyke(m): 8:03pm On Feb 02, 2013
A few days back, someone threatened me seriously at my work place. I run a cybercafe and while i was busy doing my normal business i discovered that a customer was busy downloading and watching porn movies without any care of decency in the world, i walked up to him, told him that we don't allow customers to either watch or open such sites in the cafe because its indecent and besides most porn sites carries very deadly virus.

This guy ignored me and when i insisted, he only said if am bothered i should shut down the sites myself which i willingly obliged to by rebooting the entire system.

This guy later walked up 2 me that i should refund him his money that since i don't want him 2 watch porn sites that he has no business in the cafe so i should refund all the money he has already spent. I refused and the next thing he dead was to threaten me that he is going 2 deal with me ruthlessly that i should watch out and c the kind of person that he is. I ignored him but he kept on threatening in the full glare of other customers. After all his threats, he left.

I don't really take threats seriously cos i have my own ways of taking care of myself but am just curious 2 know hw other people handle threats.

Do they go to the police 2 lay a formal complaint?
Do they hire body guards or personal security?
Do they attack the person threatening them first so as to avert the threats?

Just my thinking
Do you take threats seriously?
