A tiny chip or is it i.c(which im sure supplies the light for the lcd screen)burnt,leaving the screen completely dark but with images stil showing,yesterday jst touching this and that i touched the ic and the screen brighten up,so i tried adjusting a little but it broke.

Bringing me to what bothers me now:will it be possible 2 get the ic (which is very tiny) back or is there a way it could be done whats the chances and implications.will my screen ever work.

There are guys who replace ICs on motherboards. So long as it is not a Spider IC, they should be able to get it fixed. But it is all a probability depending on the type of IC. Visit Computer village, Ikeja
