bros na Festac u dey? The shops around there have been marked for demolition, our fear now is the shops will donate money to government and they will let them be. The residents are insisting they must leave though because the land was illegally taken from us during military rule and now is the time to claim it back

The solution is not moving them away from the spot but adressing the likely cause of the fire. I was born and bred in festac and that suya spot in well known. Why hasn't bn any fire harzard until now? Am sure somethg went wrong somewhere

the fire is not the problem, it is just an opportunity. The health hazard their suya spot causes have made residents complain over the years. Their large numbers also constituted nuisance until the Okada ban sent majority of them packing
