Merger Of Parties: INEC Gives Green Light by Nobody: 5:37pm On Feb 06, 2013
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Wednesday gave green light to the merger of opposition parties, stating that they are within the 90 days stipulation by the Electoral Act (2010) as amended.

This came as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur boasted that the PDP remains the party to be beaten by the opposition political parties seeking mergers.

When THISDAY contacted the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Kayode Idowu to know whether the political parties seeking mergers have met the conditions for merging, he referred our report to section 84 of the Electoral Act (2010 as amended).

my problem is that most of the members of the merger party were once members of PDP, they only decamped to other parties to serve their selfish purpose. so, nothing has really changed

Nsogbu!

Even PDP knows dis!

These parties have ceased to look upon nigeria as an opportunity for ethnic-centricism.

Let's now watch how far we can go in unity.

If this fails.... Then nigeria cannot survive.....

This is a last shot!

In your confused mind, yes nothing has changed but for majority of Nigerians that ve beared the burden of pdp's misrule they know a lot has changed, when the likes of Fashola, Ribadu and utomi begin to run the affairs of this great country as against ur Gej, abati and david mark then u will know dat alot has and will change.
