Attending this church, MFM made me start praying fire on human beings God wants to save. I pray God has forgiven me. Their prayers are not consistent with scripture. God is love

I was in MFM last sunday.I witnessed a lot of dramatics in the place-really wild prayers and screams.i dey my own jejely with my head bowed while standing and mumbling some gibberish,and an old man came to meet me saying i shouldnt fold my arms again.i looked up at him and almost said WTF.I pretended i didnt hear him and kept my arms folded.I hope i never have to go there again.Crazy church.

You see how truth will set you free unlike the "hell fire" revelation you saw on the other thread. You see this is CONSISTENT with scriptures. You see, church people have left their 'reasoning' and became too or over spiritual. Maybe very soon, members of MFM will start calling you devil's advocate because you simply said the truth that devil cannot die but that's the truth. If the devil they prayed to die yesterday had indeed died yesterday, how come they still pray for another devil to die today? Jesus weeps.....

Nönsense!, as a ex mfm member i used to say that 'die by fire' prayer but not anymore. these people outrightly pray for their human and spirit enemies to die. So just dont come up here and type rubbish when the truth is staring u right in the face.

If you shout from morning to night that you want to get admission into the univetsity,without sitting for jamb and with the right qualification, in the name of Jesus,your prayer will not be answered.
Also,you cannot become the general manager of a Bank without having, at least, a secondary school cert, no matter how much you pray.

No one can shout "die"to a spirit beign in the name of Jesus and expect a result if :
If spirits cannot die.
If God is against the prayer.

James 4:3 "says ye ask and receive not because ye ask amiss".Praying in the name of Jesus means, God should answer your prayers because of Jesus's relationship with God.

When the spiritual sword hits the evil powers and they fled ,it means their activities in your life ,carrier,business ,job etc will be removed,so they are dead in that area because they no longer function in ur life.

Many people do complain about born again christians ,cos of different experiences they had with them in the past,but not all born again christians are the same.
In MFM you are taught to be holy in every aspect of your life.

U see, the people praying that demons should die are time wasters & very ignorant. There is no such thing as a demon dying neither is there anything as strong prayers. When strong people pray, it gets answers.

Many people do not understand the prayers of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. They do nt pray that spirit should die. They know spirits do not die. But the word 'dead' can be used in a variety of applications. When you say 'dead water', that means it is stagnant. When you say 'a dead town', it means the town is devoid of activities. When you say 'a dead party' it means the party is lacking excitement. When you say 'dead vehicle', it means the engine has knocked or that the vehicle has broken down. When you say 'dead language', it means a language that is no longer relevant. When you say something 'is dead inside', it means the thing is not responding to activity anymore. So when you say a particular entity should die in spirit realm, what you are saying is that, that thing should no longer be available to trouble your life. It may still be alive to trouble the life of others if it can. But as far ad you are concerned, it is dead. It cannot affect you. It cannot deal with you. That is the meaning of the payer.

Kind sirs, there are some churches that do somethings that I as a Christian do not really understand. Do I come to Nairaland and begin to seek people's opinion? No sirs. If it bothers me, I go deep and search the foundation of such in the scripture and get the real interpretation.

If we take the case of MFM, someone has explained to us that evil spirits don't die and that the word 'die' means to lose relevance. Looking at this from a scriptural standpoint, Jesus commands us to cast them out. Demons are evil spirits that seek to take possession of objects (especially animate) to achieve their purpose. When we cast them out of any entity (animate or inanimate) they inhabit, they lose relevance. Figuratively, they 'die'. Scripturally, figurative praying is not wrong. In fact, the Bible has many figurative expressions that have spiritual meanings (e.g. the books of the prophets and Revelation). Now where do we cast them out from, from people around us and things that pertain to us. Some of us We should also know that demons move around in this physical world but we can't see them with our physical eyes. Besides, some of us are our own problems because we keep doing things that offend God. So what do we call that? We may call it weakness but god calls it sin. Unless we command such things to 'die' or 'lose control' in our lives, such things could prevent us from getting to Heaven. Jesus was tempted by the devil but he overcame. Our problem is that we don't overcome.

From the way some us sound, it's apparent that we have one grievance or the other against MFM. We all cannot belong to the same denomination but let's stop all this unnecessary controversy. I have seen Christians that prayed these prayers against demons and got their breakthroughs. Whatever method works for you, as long as it's in line with the Scriptures, use it.

A note of warning I must sound is that anyone who is praying for his fellow man to die is going against the Scriptures. God is The Avenger (Romans 12:19) and The One to determine whether the man or woman troubling you will live or not. The only thing is for you to remain godly and faithful to Him.

Lastly, anyone who is really born-again, has the Holy Spirit, prays continually and studies the Word of God will really tell the good from the bad and the right from the wrong by the help of the Spirit. Thank you sirs.
