Fluidity: The Eagles transition from the defence to the attack was so seamless and easy despite the slow pace of the midfield. The midfield is anchored by creative passes, power and good vision linking up with the attack. In the last two matches the Eagles dictated the pace of the game from the midfield especially against the Malians.

Fast Attack: Unlike their slow midfield, the Eagles attack is terrific with extraordinary pace contradicting the build up from the midfield which most of the time is mis judged by the opponents. This element of surprise is so dynamic that it could be launched from any part of the attack. Coupled with individual brilliancy and power, Moses, Emenike, Ideye and Musa can wreck havoc with little space. No wonder all have registered their names on the scorer sheet

Dependable Defence: Oboabona and Omeuro combination has stabilised the defence unlike the first game when Yobo started along side Oboabona. Keshi must use the right defence line to afford himself the luxury of tactical substitution instead of replacing players because of errors and cards like we observed in the first match against B/Faso

Positioning: This aspect of the Eagles game has been the fulcrum of the team when not in possession. This is unusual for most West African side. The North Africans are masters in this act but it appears the Eagles have been able to master the act. It has brougth in healthy team play, without sacrificing individual creativity...We have seen considerable displays of skills from Emenike, Brown Ideye, Musa, Mikel and Moses

If B/Faso are to beat Nigeria, they must stop Mikel, Onazi and Brown from linking up with the attack. They must disrupt the fluidity of the midfield by pressing hard in the Nigerian defence, while at the same time playing tight defence line to cut off Emenike and co...doubt if they have the personnel to do this. Only option is to allow the Nigerians play their game which is a wear and tear techniques to subdue their opponent...slow midfield and frightening attack with skills and pace

With or without Moses and Emenike, Keshi has struck a gold mine with the 4-3-3 formation. The weak link used to be Ogude with is knack for crude tackles...that has since been soughted out. Ike Uche and Musa can well fit into this game. All the Eagles needed is composure during attack especially Musa when in possession.

I will like to see Eyeama lauching attack straight from the 18 yard box all night. This would unsettle the Burkinabes and make them nervous to sit-in in their defence thereby giving Mikel and co ample space in the middle to dictate the game in terms of pace and possession...this will certainly spell doom for the burkinabes as this will keep them on the back foot.

The bench: Eagles must learn how to use the bench. Only once did we manage this...against Mali when Musa came on. Like what Ferguson usually do, the player must play on the off side line. Musa could be deployed for this from the 75 minute of player...he has pace and techniques to beat the off side trap like he did againt Mali

Congratulation to Nigeria Super Eagles. the Burkinabe made life difficult for the Eagles by playing high up in our defence line which stiffen the midfield...on numbers of occassions they sacrifice more men up front and we would have hit them on the counter especially in the second half.
