Popular for where. One member on NL hold over 30 or more account if he or she so wishes. When I was banned, I created a new account with the same but tweaked a bit, when that was banned, I created another with the same name. All this happened in one day. After my account was reinstated, I personally asked them to delete the extra account I created since i don't need it anymore and till this day that extra account still exist. A different forum would have accepted my request, in fact the wouldn't have allowed me to register again since im serving a ban. NL figures are severely distorted. Of course, it was.included in the million members number. I won't be surprised if the members on here are actually less than 5000. You must be new. Heck alj harem alone probably added 10 or more in the list.

NL is a fantastic platform as far I'm concerned. One can do virtually do anything on this forum- stir up controversy, inform, engage in propaganda, educate, socialise, etc.

I think people create multiple ID to facilitate propaganda or to nullify the effect of a possible ban. I have just one ID and I simply rest when banned accidentally.
In the last few weeks, I'v been spending too much time on NL so any ban will actually help me take a break.

Really, its mostly the ACN/CPC crew that are pushing me to spend too much time on this platform. I'm currently working out how to reduce time spent on NL

Prior to me registering, I was an anonymous visitor. Silently slipping in to view comments and topics. I think the people that fall into that category are well in the millions too. You can never know whose been silently slipping in and out .....Bill Gates...Richard Branson...Michael Zukerberg...James Cameron....The F.B.I...C.I.A...Rick Ross.....President Jonathan...Gov Fashola.....Tonto Dicke....etc. Its bigger than what we see, wish i owned it.

On an internet forum where many Nigerians (at home and in the Diaspora) identify themselves more by their ethnic affiliations and where trading abuses, curses and hate-speech has become the usual fare,i.e nairaland something dramatic happened last Sunday afternoon. The moment the match between Cote D’Voire and Nigeria ended with the Super Eagles coming out victorious against popular prediction, there was a ‘ceasefire’ with everybody suddenly becoming proud to be Nigerian.Segun Adeniyi of Thisday Newspaper
