I know some footballers can bare write thier names left alone being graduates but they are doing well in thier professions. Musicians only need to know how to read and write and up they go e.g wizkid. Most nollywood actors and actresses are seceondary school leavers left alone being degree holders and yet they are famous. In national assembly, deputy senate president once said his colleagues in d house can barely write thier names and yet we still have those set of pple in our system playing and eating political money.

Now if all these people could achieve this and many more without being university graduates, what then can a university certificate be as a hindrance to someone to achieve in life apart from white collar jobs?

The examples you gave here circles around money and fame, but my brother if you want to be a professional in any field, you need that certificate. Even as a police recruit you need at least Ond now to be enlisted, my advice if you have the opportunity go for it and remember being a graduate does not mean you will be rich and famous.
