Ghanaian female musician, Efya has revealed that, she hopes to become a legend and own her own club/shrine just like Nigerian Afro-beat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, in future.

Speaking to the crew of 30minitz during the filming of the show, Efya stated that, all of what she is doing now is trying to be a legend, adding that she hopes to make true Hugh Masekela’s wish for her to own her club/shrine where she will entertain crowds week in, week out.

She agreed with music fans who at this stage of her career have started likening her to the Nigerian Legend stating that, Fela had something else in him and that something else she believes she has too.

She also revealed that, she is currently in a recording mode finalizing her debut album as a solo artiste “Love Genesis” which has been a work in progress for the past three years.
