Most people have been wondering when she married former President Olusegun Obasanjo. For the eight years Obasanjo spent in the presidential Villa, nothing was heard of her. Except for his first wife, Remi, not many Nigerians knew about Bola.

Now, you can hardly see the statesman fondly reffered to as Baba without Bola. They are like siamese twins and attend almost all occasions together. When there was a fire at his hilltop mansion in Abeokuta last year, it was reported that Bola was with the grandchildren at home when the fire started.

Said to shun the press, Baba’s new ‘First Lady’ is dark skinned, does not appear extravagant in her dressing and she is always smiling.  She is the mother of Oba, one of Baba’s sons who live in Abeokuta. It is said that Oba’s wife is Baba’s favourite of all his daughters-in-law.
