The autopsy result released by the pathologist stating the cause of death as intracerebellar haemorrhage due to hypertensive heart disease has put to rest the controversy on the cause of her death.
For a young lady to have died at 31yrs of hypertensive heart disease raises questions about the management of our health.It was never mentioned that she had such a health issue but I believe she must have been diagnosed at one time of hypertension and that raises the question of if she managed her health status well.

Do you know your health status?Have u in recent times visited a hospital to have a health check-up?
Do you have a familiar history of any health condition?
Have you checked your blood pressure and blood sugar in recent times?
If you are over 35 years,you should start to think of having a comprehensive health check-up.
Most people who have a stroke are often symptom-less before it happens.

That's the thing about our 'if it aint broke, don't fix it mentality. Too bad a lot of Nigerians are negligent about their health status (I'm a bit guilty of this myself). As long as they're up and going and swallow a couple of paracetamol tablets at night, they're ok. Our bodies are just like machines or automobiles. Once they generate a small fault and its ignored, the damage increases and spread to other parts till it eventually breaksdown. Just that the average Nigerian don't believe in getting comprehensive tests done except they're afflicted with something.
