poolball - just trying to see how blender gurus in this forum can showcase their work in high resolution as many complained of the 200kb limit on image posting on nairaland, you can still upload your high resolution image by visiting any file uploading site upload and copy the image link and paste it on your post and add the image tag, thats all or alternatively I have created a new forum http://1010studio.com/free for blender gurus to upload their image, once image is uploaded, right click the image and select copy image link paste the link here and add the image tag
Example is the poolball image here which is from http://www.1010studio.com/free/download/file.php?id=2 just add the tag [img] url [/img]

Press F key to create a face in edit mode wile in vertex select go into edit mode by pressing tab on keyboard or the button in the properties menu.

Make sure you are in edit mode by presssing tab or in the properties window button.

I did a quick tip tutorial hope it helps. Keep practicing until you are familiar with the controls.

please how long does it take to render a 50 frame animation in blender as this my first time and it has taken me 9 hours already with no sign of ending as the rendering progress bar finishes and restart again below are images of my system specifications 4GB Ram AMD Radeon HD 6310M

It all depends on the complexity of the scene (shaders, lights, light bounces, surfaces...)

it is the MBC 3 logo above which I animated to rotate and the scene is not up to 3 seconds my render settings were resolution 1920 x 1080 sampling = 500 as this is what is require to give a better output, I have been rendering image and it takes like 30mins to 1hr and this is my first animated movie to test how it will look like, I started the rendering by 00:30am and by 10:30am which is 10hrs i discovered that the render progress bar which is always restarting is now processing frame 5 out 50. men somebody had to come with a better ideal of how to render 3seconds animation with less than 3hours with my setup because i`m giving up,

@ ncpat(m), It is normal for the render progress bar to do that. Upload a copy of your blend file or email me a download link so i can test it.
