Bayelsa is a place to be. She doesn't have the best of camp site but her state is good. I'm currently serving in bayelsa, yenegoa to be precise. The only ish is that things are costly here (expensive).
Why on camp, please join some of the important units or roles because it'll help in the posting to the right PPA. Units like OBS (you don't need to read mass comm before you can join, any discipline can sign up), NCCF fellowship (try to work hard so you'll be taken as an exco), MDG's (try to be an exco), Dance and drama, band.
These groups can help to get you posted to yenegoa. Don't expect oil companies. Try to buy everything you need and avoid going along with sharp object.
