Yeah. The cartoon was titled after the heroine, Sara. It was made by UNICEF.

She had a monkey named Zingo, an uncle; Mr. Mbata, her teacher; Ms. Matata, other characters included; Her gran ma, her dad who lived in the city, Her mum, a sibling, two female friends, etc.

We had the tapes then. One of the Episodes was titled "The Special gift"
