Honest and candid suggestion will help a brother here, i have been a big fan of the fone since i heard of its many capabilities, nd would av had one by now if not for d huge price tag. I have followed up every singel story nd news about this gadget... Bt d only problem now is that all my facts are based on virtual images nd written text abt d fone, i havent seen it nt for once talkless of touching it,
Now my question is, dia is a tecno n7 out there wit a very fair price wit a big screen plus dual sim capabilities.... So guys, is there a gud reason to raise cash for d note 2 or jst opt for d tecno n7. Pls base ur judgement less on d brand names bt more on d two fones. I realy love d note 2 bt does it deserve to get all dat love wen n7 is around? I dnt knw, guys help me out.

Forget the allure of price and shiny features.

remember you are talking about android.
does techno have ROM images out for u so u can flash it if it bleeps up?

is there support from dev community for techno?

can u get to buy spares, parts, etc?

will it stand the test of time? for example are there used techno phones in the market?

its easy to diss Samsung and the rest, their 3year old phones are still being sold new and used.


can it give u performance? are the parts up to the task?

do u give a shit about software updates at all?

do u intend to buy a new phone every 6months to a year thereabouts?


your answers to the above questions will give u a clear picture.

I see a lot of folk who brick their phones even whilst rooting or installing an app!!. if it was one of these chinks, u need to buy a new one.

My broda @4ller, u ar very correct, i had issues wit d then tecno t1 wen it came out as d cheapest andriod fone den, i bot one. D screen developed fault, i took it to d carlcare center nd abt a month later it was fix, since den dia has been no issue wit it, so as i av heard how gud d n3 was, i jst taught tecno has well improved by this so dey now brought d n7 which i believe is d biggest high end fone!!!!!

You've obviously not taken a closer look at both of them. The Samsung Galaxy grand has the following advantages over Techno n7
1. 1gb RAM (your Smartphone reboot's less often compared to that of 512 RAM )
2. Android 4.1.2 JB OS
3. Scratch resistant gorilla glass protection (prevents scratches. trust me, once your touch screen phone developes too many scratches and becomes very unresponsive to touch, you'll feel like throwing it into the dustbin).
4. Bluetooth 4.0
5. 1080p @30fps video recording
6. 8mp camera
7. 21mb per sec download speed (especially important under poor 3g network. Streaming is more seamless download speed is faster).
8. Automatic brightness (aka sunlight legibility. You don't have cover the screen with your palm while operating the phone in an open space or under direct sunlight. Not to frighten you tbut I've heard of someone who got knocked by a vehicle while doing the above.

As a user of a samsung galaxy note 2, I can confidently say its d best phone ever made by samsung. tecno n7 is shit compared to it.

they're not even making the stylus a big deal yet. it's AWESOME.

for the battery,

when i was using a nokia phone(C5 to be exact), my battery rarely lasts up to 6 hours on a single charge(quite a heavy user), but with the note 2, i only charge my phone before going to bed and it lasts for the whole day, abd i still get like 13% in the evening.

*NB* using the the stylus consumes more battery than normal use.

Ah! E don tey wey i knw say u dey eye note 2. Well i would advice u still buy d note 2 since u av wanted it dis long, like i keep insisting, u cannot get d stylus or d 3100mah battery in the galaxy s3, so i strongly suggest u go for d note 2, nd pple say it houses more features dan d s3 nd i guess d price difference isnt dat much.

I don't think u can get the Gs3 for 60k,think its about 83k n d GN2 is abt 90k,it's worthy of note that the GS4 is 108k,and I believe that is the best done on d planet now,that being said,the GN2 is a beast of a fone,it's a laptop,a tablet and smart fone all rolled into one device.

SG4 or whatever, GS note 2 remains my best for now. It also has 2G RAM like the S4. And it has a wider screen than that of S4. Apart from the face-scrolling feature and some other additives, S4 isn't better than Note 2. Its even far better than some laptops
