In 1904, Gus Mears acquired the Stamford Bridge athletics
stadium with the aim of turning it into a football ground.
An offer to lease it to nearby Fulham was turned down, so
Mears opted to found his own club to use the stadium. As
there was already a team named Fulham in the borough, the
name of the adjacent borough of Chelsea was chosen for the
new club;

The Enyimba midfielder, whose stock was enhanced by performances at the U20 World Cup, has been snapped up by the Tunisian giants

Goal can exclusively reveal that a deal has been agreed between Enyimba and Tunisian giants Esperance for the transfer of Kingsley Sokari.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been on the books of the two-time African champions for the last two seasons. Only this past month, he was a part of the Nigeria U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, at the ongoing Fifa U20 World Cup in New Zealand. He made three appearances for Manu Garba’s side, scoring once.

Sokari has also been capped by the Super Eagles, making his debut in a friendly against Ivory Coast in January.

Esperance, who already have fellow Nigeria international Emem Eduok in their ranks, have paid the sum of $400,000 for the playmaker. Personal terms have also been agreed between the player and the club, Goal’s sources have revealed.

It is expected that the player will put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Blood and Gold in the coming days, following which an official announcement will be made

Thumbs up for Enyimba for d catalyst and 3sc for been a good host. The fan turnup was extremenly outstanding.

Taiocol d figure u released is d official number of tickets sold but I know many who didn't buy any tickets infact so many fans were on their feet throughout d match 'cos no seat was available.

I think over 15,000 must have watched that match.

Because others didn't complain makes it right?

Did the others set the rules for FIFA?
why didnt he complained at the beginning of the game? As others didnt set the rules doesnt make him to complain when wolves equalise

club that beg their fans to come watch them play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much is warri wolves worth?

Hope their salaries and match allowances have been paid? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
how do wolves beg their fans to come and watch games?, and wolves doesnt own their players salary, wolves worth more than any club in nigeria, other clubs ticket is 50, 100 while wolves ticket is 200, 500 and 1000 and they still have a large number of turn out, they make money in their home games more than any club in nigeria.
