no, you are updating it with your phone. some phones automatically update the changed extension.

Hey guys the whats app its now working on my gf s phone but anytime i hide it its gon disconnect until she opens it again and the tin ll connect again.on asha 200

Its not workin on my c2-01 every time i try 2 open it it shows invalid application,n if i want 2 update d new version it shows file too large.pls wat will i do?

I am facing exactly the same problem as u did, in downloading whatsapp, on my nokia 200. I deleted the app and downloaded it again, updated it a zillion times, but no use. nokia 200 is not a multitasking phone..ie you cant do something else on your cell by keeping whatsapp open in the background. you'l have to manage it that way..

Remember to extract the two files there, the jar and jad, copy or move to your phone, update the app and update it again till it says latest version installed, open your app and enjoy.
(Though this may still not work for all s40 phones, cos i tried it on nokia 6301 and it said, file too large.)
