I just explained the technique in detail. You have to be experienced in the process because it takes experience to use the flotation technique.

Rub baking flour on the fish so that it won't splash hot oil on u.

Yeah me too. That peeling of beans can take me hours to finish and I still havent figured out a faster way. I avoid cooking moin-moin cos of that.

With the mortar it's more of rinsing...just like the bowl unless ofcos u own a gigantic one.

my uncle's wife has one fast way of doing hers. After beans soaks in water for some time..she takes out the beans and start pounding it with a pestle and mortar..very mildly so u don't pound it to pieces..u do it more like u're pressing it. Within few minutes, the bark is off..then u put it back in water and start rinsing out the peel from it. I've never tried it in our house anyway except in their house once.

frying is not my thing due to hot oil splash eg chicken, yam, stew.. washing semo pot etc,
washing bitter leaf or pounding cocoyam or fresh pepper and onions-Lord have mercy

for all of you who hates slicing onions..try chewing gum whenever you're slicing it..i swear the onions won't affect your eyes.

Beans: Try using blender to pulse it few times, pares easily.

I blend okra too, I cut off the end then throw it in the food processor/ blender just add Maggi / locust / salt / stock and cook for 5mins done.
