guys please how do i get rid of porn in my yahoo inbox. i am not talking about spam, but that space at the side that usually carry adverts for one university or the other. now there's a pornographic picture/video there. At times the other adverts come back only to be replaced by Indecency again. pls my kids are usually by my side when i'm online and i'm desperate.

abegi what is this "indecency" thing? i mean sexually explicit videos/pictures. please help

my mind wasn't there not until he asked this question. before i could say anything, he has left thinking that he saw me watching "pono"

its been long since i've used yahoomail, so i'm not sure if its possible to set it to disable graphics.

if thats not possible from YahooMail options, you can disable graphics on your browser, especially when about to login to YahooMail.

all this is assuming that YahooMail has failed and their spam blocking/tracking is totally ineffective.

Make use of the "eport spam" function in your mail.

if you use firefox web browser, adblocker addon should do the job, and purge your yahoomail inbox of all indecency

Hi guys. I had the same problem but I have now found a way of disabling those pornographic adverts. You need to go to the following link:

http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/opt_out/targeting/details.html

Then you need to sign in. After signing in, then disable the kind of adverts you do not want by clicking the 'OFF' button next to the categories. Make sure you disable all forms of 'Entertainment' as the pornographic contents fall into this category.
