Most petrolheads are fans of movies with car chase scenes, during the course of shooting some of these flicks,high priced cars are sometimes destroyed to make it more entertaining. For instance, $11 million worth of cars were destroyed during the making of 'a good day to die hard' (the high profile 'victims' here were the Mercedes G63 AMGs, A trio of E65 7series needlessly blown up,a unimog and a dartz suv), 9 aston martins were wasted to get the rollover scene in 'casino royale', 2 roll royce phantoms were destroyed during the filming of 'iron man 2', A lamborghini murcielago was wrecked in the 'the Dark Knight'...this list could go on and on..which other car destruction scenes do you folks find depressing?

The part that drove me nuts was in Casino Royale, when Bond was racing against time in his badass Aston Martin, only to encounter that woman lying tied and gagged in the middle of the road. In an attempt to avoid crushing her, he frantically swerved to the left, only to have the car tumbling and crashing on its back.

It really pisssed me off because it was such a solid ride, dude!

Lmao!! You should watch 'Tobi', a 1998 film featuring Paul and Peter Okoye. That movie was 'gaangster'. That poor Mercedes Benz 190 weaved genteely across a busy street as Tobi races after the maniac who killed his girlfriend, leaving 'destruction' in his wake.
