what attracted me to comment is the argument on whether sansa was raped or not.

Firstly, Sansa is dull by nature, not smart or wise in any of her decision. All her decisions her influenced,. She doesn't have a mind of her own.

I bet you a high school lad can lure sansa to do anything.

I had to watch the scene over again. Sansa gave her consent for sex. She started pulling off her clothes only that she was slow and Ramsey Had to tear it.
Also notice that sansa willingly bent.
The only problem with the act was that there was no emotional attachment, no tenderness considering it was her first time.

My Conclusion, Sansa was not raped, she only cried out of pains (as a virgin would )

People are just complaining because the show runners are deviating from the books and they don't like it. They don't like it because they won't be able to rub it in anyone's face anymore about how superior they are because they have read the books.

They think George Martins way is the only good way to tell a story and that it is the holy grail so any thing added or removed from it is an abomination.

Oh but we are superior, do you know how you sound, D& were also just fans. Even though we might arrive at the same ending, its how you got there that matters, the middle.

Sorry to burst ur bubbles but here in Nigeria, it is no crime...a woman is bound to fulfill her husband sexual urge and when a man decides to take it by all means due to the woman's stubborn attitude, it isnt tagged as rape. so he is actually right, as far as it is in this country, there is no rape in marriage.

A woman that doesn't want to have sex can have sex. That is why female rape is recognised but male rape hardly is. For your d1ck to stand, you need the right state of mind and you can't be in it if you don't want to but the same cannot be said for females (they can do it if they want to or not). Back to the point, "I don't feel like" is a reasonable reason for a wife not to have sex (even tho she doesn't need to "feel like" to just open her legs)but when it spans for a few weeks maybe months, it becomes an unreasonable reason. But being in pains or whatever is a reasonable reason.

But in the case of sansa, "I am a virgin " is not a reasonable reason.

Good luck arguing that in court. You marry a woman and she doesn't want to have sex with you, you can force her to because by law, she signed a contract (marriage) and must honor the agreement. I have argued this with a law student before.

Also, she is not a victim anymore. She is doing whatever it takes to further her agenda (whatever it may be). This is one of the reasons why I say she wasn't raped.

Let me clarify a bit, a wife has no legal right to starve her husband of sex for an unreasonable reason e.g am a virgin (like sansa). And also, the man must not apply extreme force else he will be charged for battering (still not rape).

Women do not forgive and forget that sort of thing easily, she may stay in the marriage most likely but the man will pay one way or the other. How about you checking on men who have done such to their wives to see how their lives turned out afterwards.
All I am trying to say is that the law does not protect females does not make it the right thing to do. The woman will exert her revenge her own way when she is ready.
