it's so appalling that a man/woman i dont know will try or be trying to pull down a business i have tried building for years with honesty and humility.

Sir,firstly you didnt state the year for the almera you actually need as at last week,golf 3 manula with ac was 610,000 naira while auto with ac was 730k and almera 2000 model was 850,000 but please note the following-

1. custom duty has been included in the amount i stated.
2. Prices could rise or drop depending on the exchange rate of CEFA.
3. Prices could also drop if the importers know we are ready to buy.
4. We will not accept cash payments to buy on your behalf,you've to come with us into Cotonou and if you like,you can also bring your mechanic along.
5. we only accept transaction fees which could be from 10,000 naira upwards depending on the car you buy.
6. We will not move your car into Nigeria without custom duty.

The scenario stated above are what makes buying from Cotonou and paying due duty never more expensive than what is sold on the Lagos front.

1 - It cost slightly cheaper shipping a car to Cotonou,right?(The difference use to be as mush as $400 before the cancellation of the CTN regime)
2 - Importers in Cotonou don't have to hustle cash to clear their shipped in vehicles,meaning they have more available cash to use to import more cars(More cars for sale)
3 - Demurage payment only starts after the car must have spent 1 year at the park but Nigeria ports start attracting demurage from the 3rd day after the vessel that conveyed the vehicle discharged(So possible cash lost to demurage is cut off).
4 - The fact that a Cotonou car seller can sell up to 10 cars a day means he can afford to sell with a profit margin of between a $100 - $300(Believe it) while his Lagos counterpart struggling under high demurage and repayment of money borrowed to clear his car would want to make at least $800 upwards from the sale of a car.(I don't blame him cos he may not sell a single car in 1 week,compared to his Cotonou counterpart who sells minimum of 5 a day)
5 - It cost much lower to clear a car in Cotonou and the duty payable cost less at the point of entry in Nigeria(Land borders). why?Terminal and shipping company charges which are payable at the sea port are exempted from what is paid at the Land borders.
6 - People also buy from Cotonou because they know that no where in Nigeria can you get an agglomeration of same buy options in a singular location for them to pick from.(abi where else can you get tens of 2000 Model Camry in a single location in Nigeria?.


What matters most is dealing with a credible agent/dealer.

Avensis 01 is 1.430,corolla 03 is 1.350M.
Note custom duty as been added,prices are also negotiable and we don't accept cash from customers to buy cars on their behalf neither do we move cars without duty.

We like to implore those who've been making inquiries about prices of cars in cotonou to please try to meet up with their end of the deal,it's very discouraged when people add us on BBM,Whatsapp,call/text us for prices and they don't show up.
The reasons are-
1.Before we need to give you a specific asking price,we need a fore knowledge of how much the lagos cleared model is sold and we try to seek out a better car with lower price in cotonou.Some customers will always tell us that's urgent and we've to make start making calls and going round parks which cover nothing less than 1,200 hectares of land and it costs money for transportation and logistics.
2.Also,since we can't bargain without you been present to access the car,we can just give you the asking price plus rate of custom duty.
3.When we give you the asking prices,pls note that you can only make negotiations on prices of cars and not custom duty,if you encourage your agent to short pay custom officials,you stand a risk of loosing your car/jeep.
4.Always confirm from dealers in Lagos after we have given you the cotonou price,if it pays you to buy in Lagos,please buy.Let's use a golf3 for example,if we give you 670K as price for the manual type,it means it means 130K has been included as custom duty while the actual price for the car from cotonou is 540K and it means it's only on 540K you can make negotiations on.
Now we have instances where people will tell us someone promised to help them ship from US for a cheaper price or they've seen people selling in Nigeria for 500K,all we ask you is that if you get a cheaper price wherever you're and it pays you,pls buy the car.

The price for RX330 from the parks is 1.7M while custom duty is 500K.

Sir,in some special circumstances,pathfinder 1999 may be cheaper in lagos,in Cotonou it's 1.2M while sonata 2000 model is 1.2-1.4M,custom duty has been included.

Also people have always called for cars from 300K-500K-700K,we want them to note that in cases like this,cars they can get won't be more than 300-350K.For example,if you need a car for 700K,what we can help u get won't be more than 500K since you'll still need money for custom duty,we won't accept deals from customers who think that buying a low end car will encourage us to go into flying cars across the border,if you're buying a 50K car,you must pay custom duty.
