Sometimes, it's best to think, before you post. Nairaland babes are just virtual people, and of no interest to me. I'm a married man with two young children, so I can empathise with anyone who lost a child, under such circumstances, even if the parent was my sworn enemy.

I couldn't care less about frontpage, though lots of my technical write-ups have made it there.

I doubt you read all the reports on this.

And I doubt you understand the sense of smell a canine possesses. You don't have to be in the same room for a dog to smell meat. And if dogs are bred to be savage and aggressive, and are as out of control as these ones were, it doesn't really matter. They can attack without being taunted.

Please read what you've posted here, and see if it makes any sense to you. A young teen's been savaged to death by canines, and you're bringing indecent dressing into the mix. Where's the correlation?

As has been rightly pointed out dogs do have a keen sense of smell better than a humans

if you didnt know before, you'd better know now, dogs can attack without being taunted, if they have rabies....

Also, some dogs can act wild if they have bitten someone before, or if they are used to raw flesh...

All these dogs had rabies? The article is not clear on if she is a member of the family. Then how come she was alone at home, in a stranger's house with the dogs? She was found unconscious in the home right? She was probably dog sitting, and no one knows what happened. Even the owners son expressed shock that his mum's dogs could attack her. If they were ravenous and dangerous dogs, i dont think they will leave them in the house with her or a sitter for that matter. Anyhow, who are we to speculate. Anything could have happened. And kids do taunt dogs.

I'm contemplating getting a Pitbull for pet, but stories like this scares me. I have been told pitbulls can be very dangerous especially if you have lil kids at home. Any advise about this?
