FG Declares Wednesday, May 1, Public Holiday The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, May 1, as public holiday to commemorate Workers' Day. The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, made the announcement on Friday in a statement in Abuja. The statement, which was signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Anesthesia Nwoebia, also congratulated Nigerians for their resilience and commitment in the face of the challenges of daily living. Moro urged Nigerian workers to sustain their support for the Goodluck Jonathan administration’s efforts to lead the country on the right path to the next level. This is the only thing FG knows how to declare. "Public Holiday" -Can't FG declare war on Boko Haram? -Can't FG declare job opportunities? (Instead it is a 'bring my family member' job -Can't FG declare 2weeks uninterrupted power supply? FG is busy declaring May 1 public holiday which a nursery school pupil knows about. There are some holidays the Fg need to stop declaring, it should be in the calender already jor xmas,boxing day, new year, easter etc what a waste of time n effort someone actually preparing this brief annually only the muslim holidays should be announced as they have no fixed date 1 Like |

The rate and ease at which holidays are declared in Nigeria eh. Na wa oo. Valuable man hours are lost to these phantom holidays. |
