The joy of every entrepreneur is to make huge profit from his or her business, but the problem with startup business these days is that, the ROI (return on investment) is not as expected when the business idea was conceded, this then brings up the question; why my business is not doing well. You’re not the first entrepreneur to ask that question and it is very sure you must be the last person to ask, so the editor of LEVERSTAND has taken out his time to do some mini research on reasons why your business is not doing well.

POOR FEASIBILITY STUDIES: A poor feasibility studies before setting up your business will surely have negative impact on your business performance. For the learners you might want to read IMPORTANCE OF FEASIBILITY STUDIES BEFORE STARTING A BUSINESS. You don’t need an expert to outline the prospect of your business for you, it’s a thing you can do yourself, all you need to do is put some basic facts into consideration and you will be sure as to whether you should venture into the business or not. So if your business is not doing well right now then the error might have come from the poor feasibility study you took before starting a business.
A quick look into the business venture of two young entrepreneurs: Mr. A decided to start the business of selling cold pure water at the school gate of a primary school, while Mr. B decided to start the same business but employed a slightly different strategy, so he came up with a slightly different product, he decided to sell cheap cold juice. Take note that they both choose the same venue for their businesses, the same market target and the same start-up capital. At the end of the first week, Mr. B sold 5litres of cheap cold juice while Mr. A sold just 2litres of cold pure water. Then Mr. A would ask, what is wrong with my venture? Am I doing it wrong? Actually he had a perfect business idea and he chooses the best environment for his business concept, but he had a competitor along the way, he did not also consider the fact that his prospective customers are kids and they would prefer a colored product to pure water. That’s just about the basic significance of making a proper feasibility study, putting all factors into consideration. Since you have started the business, there is nothing much to rectify on the aspect of feasibility study, so If you think the cause to the poor ROI of your business is that feasibility study, you might as well stop reading the article here and come back to read on (How to rectify as business with bad prospect). But if your business did not fall into the poor feasibility category, you will do well to continue.
