Please am having similar issues with my 6230i as well. All the .jar applications i downloaded cannot connect to the internet. I have tried this on glo, celtel and mtn networks-no luck. I cannot even install opera on it. Any clues will be appreciated.

fbby, u need to create special access points for each network in order for the apps to run. . .and ur 6230i is a s40 and it wuld only run apps wit internet access points & for now u can only do that with mtn . .except u have celtel internet activatd

Den i dnt knw wat is wrong maybe its d apps.bt if u're using a manual config den u can go create a new access point setting and make it default in all apps.

Dude this is phone, Nokia 6233 and downloading is one of the major problem, i suggest you delete some files b4 downloading. . .or check your connection as in Access point. i guess this help.

Nil. . . .the apps make use of the apn in the 'active' config . . .so where does auto come in?? As for 6230i do u know the phone interface? I've used quite a number of java phones (& still using two*one old s40&a new s40 ). . . . Latest s40 phones require that u create a "preferred access point" account for ur appz. . .thats if u have n0ne from any auto or whtever!
