Own a plot of land on the island for 1.3million. These plots of land are in a fast developing area just beside Mayfair Garden. Now is the best time to buy. Never think it is not affordable. Two people can come together and buy a plot and divide it. That is what i did in my own case. In 2003, i was told to buy land by Lagos Business School for only 650,000naira, i declined. Now the people that bought have obtained their Certificate of Occupancy and are selling for 5million naira per plot

I think the best you can get is N1Million, and that is even if you are buying more than 4 plots. There are some around sangotedo just behind wadbash hotel, i think they are still going for around 950k, but i advise against this because they are water logged and you will spend a lot doing raft foundation.
