Torch1: i filled Delsu as my second choice, scored 216. Am a non Indigene of Delta state, what are my chances of making it in Delsu as second choice aspirant?

which state are u from?....cos if u'd be considered unto catchment tinz if u are from any state in the south-south......eg. EDO, BAYELSA, CROSS RIVER, AKWA-IBOM etc

delsu jamb cut off mark is 170,,,,jamb has reduse the jamb cut of mark from 180 to 170 so gudluck to those who score 170 and above

Am not from South south, am from Anambra. Does it mean there is no merit for second choice aspirants?

I don't even know wat 2 say,afta delsu didn't admit me last yr with a utme score of 206.well dis yr jamb decided 2 stop ma happiness by gvn me 179 jst imagine,delsu ist choice bankn and finance,is there still hope 4 me.

And am also an indigene of delsu

BMS just like morkavictor said is Basic Medical Science...,, It is the faculty/body that entails para medical courses like anatomy, Nursing science, Physiology, Pharmacology,Biochemistry(medical), Neuroscience, Prosthesiology(anatomy), Osteology...,,,,.
In some school it is also d name of d faculty that run these departments e.g ur potential school...

How many questions r set together? Is it 100 questions or 50? How many subjects?

Delsu seldom work with our jamb scores. All that delsu looks out for in your jamb is whether or not you beat the cut off i.e 180.
They place more importance on their post ume

Delsu works well with jamb infact the higher your jamb score the easier for in delsu, your jamb result is 50% of the total aggregate while your post ume is also 50%, so cn u nw say dat delsu seldom work with jamb score ? Pls dnt mislead ppl get your facts right b4 droping them on internet because the whole world is seeing it

amedave: If you filled delsu as second choice you are on a long tin. Delsu has its 25 local govt areas as her catchement area every local govt have total number of admitted candiates especially for course like medicine, if you doubt it walk into the VC's office and ask him. Delsu admission is mostly fair bt nt absolutely fair, if you knw you dnt av strng leg dnt fill delsu as a secnd choice especially for professional courses. Delsu post ume is one of the most difficult one, first the questions are tough and there is no time, the greatest thing that would help you in this exam is if you can work on your speed try attempting 100 questions in 30 minutes then you can see how fun it is, my advice for all of you is read well, pray like you have not read change you choice and make delsu first thats when you can have added advantage plssssss take this very serious. Success to you all

Heaven knows u ar on point....cos i sat for delsu's post-utme 2yrs ago....d aggregate is d combo of ur utme score and ur post-utme score....dunno 4 dis year o..but 2yrs ago..it was utme score divided by 8 + post-utme score divided by 2....100 questions...25 aptitude test and 75 from d 4 subjects u registered in jamb....jex 30 mins....dis year ayam over-ready for dose questions...provided God's mercy remains constant.....GREAT DELSUITES!!!
