Hello NL I am a graduate of Accounting with a second class upper division aπϑ wish to further my study but I don't know which of the postgraduate courses is preferable? Msc Finance or Accounting I need response asap |

Have u done either ICAN or ACCA? U want to advance ur career in Accounting, start with that first. M.Sc is a good idea, but d labour mkt reckons with u more if u are chartered dan with any M.Sc. Audit firms for instance, take dose prof bodies more seriously dan any M.Sc. After ur M.Sc, u'll still have 2 do dose exams 2 be relevant. #Mytake#  1 Like |

I wil advice you to first go for ICAN first. But if you want to go 4 M.sc 1st, go to unis with M.sc Acct. And finance like Uni Jos, BSU, uni Agric Mkd (new faculty and new course) Thanks.. I am on my PE 1 Now. |

Like someone said, there is no point doing msc accounting becos u will need to be chartered. Also u will gain more knowledge taking prof exams than masters. So I will advice finance. But treat ur prof exams as a priority |
