plx my niece sat for the recently concluded jamb but with her score I know she has -200% chance of admission into medicine (scored 186)

I'm suggesting she applies for a change of course wen the tym comes...but I don't know which, and I don't know if she will even get a chance after changing course

or would it be better to just forget about it and await next jamb??

Truth is, that score wont get anyone Medicine in Uniport.
The change of course is not a bad idea cause it worked during my time(3yrs bck) but another Good option is that she picks basic form.

This is how I prepared.
First, go to the book store and buy comprehensive maths, chemistry, physics or what ever subject combination ur course requires. Take note, I said comprehensive!! Ask them for it.
Now buy past questions for your courses too.
Go on jamb website copy down all the required topics.
Now get ur self a library card state library or national library. If ulyou can read at home fine. start reading the comprehensive test books now no time to waste. Always make sure to jot down important things as it helps while studying.
When u are done with one chapter go back and read what u jotted down so that it can sink in.

Then one month to exams start reading past questions. Make sure u are understanding don't just skip through if u don't get it.
If u tried to read a particular topic and did not understand it, search the topic on you tube and see how they explained it.


Come back and give testimony.
