sultaan: Not sure ifit has a filter, but you can try change it at next service the filter in there might be the one from factory 12 yrs ago

I cleaned the filter the last time i flushed the oil and its still looking new and it just a guaze with inlet n outlet unlike the type of filter in my camry, its very simple. I equally doubt if i can get a genuine one.

nissparts: Holts ATF?
Thats already problem 1.
The QX4 uses dextron III atf which Holts is not.

Talking about ATF, honestly I need help as I want to change the ATF in my Nissan Xterra 2001 model. Pls which company makes or has Dextron III? Am confused on this. Total has Dexron II. My ride needs dextron III. I saw one called Seahorse dexron III D. Is it ok? Pls help me out abeg.

there has been alot of improvement on the car as i flushed the transmission oil and changed to the Dextron III
