Most android users must have experienced games not fitting to their screens due to its higher resolution and it's always a big turn off when trying to play games. Now you can learn how to mod a game to fit your screen. Let's use NOVA for this tutorial.
Suppose we want to convert
NOVA to hvga then we have to
use a program called apk
manager 4.9 or apk tool whichever suits you and then when you have
downloaded it open it
download NOVA hd apk file and put
the apk into the place-for-
modding-here paste it into the
apk manager folder and then
open the .bat file of apk
manager you will need java runtime for
running it and type 22 and select
project by pressing 1 and then decompile
it by pressing 9 and after it goto
project into apk manager folder
after it open folders until you
see the notepad file now find
gamerenderer.smali or
novarenderer.smali
Note: the .smali file name varies with games. After
opening it then open it in
notepad find this line
invoke-virtual {v0}
, Landroid/view/Display;->
getWidth()I
move-result v3
Anyway replace it with
const/16 v3, 0x320
or find
sget v3, Lcom/gameloft/android/GAND/GloftMCHP/SandstormGLSurfaceView;->mDevice_
W:I
after replacing it save it goto apk manager and then compile apk. after it sign it now the
game is converted to HVGA. HAPPY GAMING!
