First of all, SW and Yoruba are not exactly the same thing. SW comprises of people from all over Nigeria, especially Lagos. Most GEJ votes from Lagos in 2011 was from Non indegenes. The Yorubas were not exactly inspired to go out and vote for him. If you doubt me, check the figures of Presidential and governorship and see the disparity. Yorubas came out more for Fashola.

Secondly, The Torubas does not have a united front. They will only have a united front if the candidate is a Yoruba man. ACn did not get up to half of the votes in Oyo and Ogun remember?
