hi capt. Nigeria, bin a while, yeah I put to bed four months ago and she's doing good.

writing a thriller, hmmmm...you know I'm more of a romance person, I have never written one so I'm not sure if I'm the right person to ask.

I guess you enjoy reading and watching thrillers and that's why you chose to write in that genre, that's a start.... Well, first of all, do your research, google up how to write a thriller that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

try to draw readers into your story by explaining as vividly as you can core scenes, don't over explain sha, you could lose a reader's interest. Let readers fall in love with your lead characters, let them feel whatever difficult situation the protagonist is going through, make them love/hate the antagonist. Its all in the words and delivery.

that's d little I have but am sure google can do better, I'll be looking forward to reading your work so tag me when you begin.

Mynd44:

You need to understand na.....I am doing this according to laid down rules which are not mine......

Relaxing them for one person means doing that for everyone.....
leave mynd abeg. . . He has got attitude problems. I see the way he pulls himself around everywhere. I have not even see sexuality here sef. . . .if he labels this 1 as sexuality, then what is N.Y.S.C??
Re: False Pretenses <1ST POSITION, ROMANCE STORY OF THE YEAR AWARD, 2013> by Scapashini3(m): 8:15am On Nov 03, 2014
Mynd44:

Sexuality is part of literature, nudîty is an art too but there are age restrictions on things like that. This section is rated "G" which makes kids comfortable here. Their parents also trust us with the content they read so we should be responsible in that regard.

I won't want my 13 year old cousin who wants to develop her writing skills to come here and start reading stories that touch somewhere else.

The sexuality section however is a different case
13yrs my ass' . . . Writing skill my foot

Repogirl. Repogirl. Reporgirl. Let me tell you something.
I don't usually visit the literature section on nairaland, my place is the business section. If you check my profile you would notice that. But something happend last week...

After the close of business last week i needed to relax, so i picked my phone and checked Nairaland's front page. I wanted to read something entertaining so i saw your story about Mofe and Zinny (can't remember the title now).

I started reading and immediately got hooked. I liked the character Mofe or Mope (as Aliyu calls him) maybe because he is a tech guy, a CEO and enterpreneur.

I enjoyed myself and decided to check your profile for other stories. I then picked FALSE PRETENSE since i saw it won an award.

Immediately i started reading FALSE PRETENSE i was unusually hooked and read it from 5pm on Saturday 8th November till 3am on Sunday morning before going to bed. I woke up and prepared for church.

Later that sunday afte having lunch with a friend i continued from where i stopped...i was even gisting my friend the story.

And now i had to suspend other things to finish up the story (thank God i am the boss like Ise).

To cut long story short, you are a GREAT writer.

PS. Ensure you publish that story. I was begining to dislike Kite or Kitty or Kite luv for the way she was treating my fellow CEO. Nice one Repogirl.

PSS. I will continue with Mofe and Zinny story later. Once again, ensure you get published.
