Civil Society for HIV and AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN) is a national network of organizations working on HIV and AIDS programme with Zonal and State Offices nationally. CiSHAN requires the services of committed, dynamic and experience staff to support the implementation of Global Fund R9 Phase 2 project cycle focusing on OVC, Adherence Support and Community System Strengthening (CSS) in the 36 States of Nigeria including FCT.

Available position and application process:
The following position is open for employment and interested candidates are required to send their application and CV as a single Microsoft document to recruitment@cishannigeria.org by the 31st of May 2013. Applicants that fail to follow this procedure will be disqualified. Interviews will hold on the 5th of June 2013. Successful candidates are expected to resume immediately.

A. Program Manager
The Program Manager will have generic programme management and reporting experience that cuts across OVC, Community System Strengthening (CSS) and Palliative/Adherence Support components of HIV and AIDS care. In addition, s/he will be extensively involved in different elements of business/proposal development and negotiations with national and international development agencies. The PM will also be responsible for partnership management, capacity building and donor reporting. The preferred candidate should have good experience in M&E, community mobilization processes and very good reporting and facilitations skills.
Qualifications
1. Masters Degree in development studies, public health or social sciences;
2. At least 7 years significant program management experience with national and international development agencies focusing on health/HIV and AIDS.
3. Past supervisory experience and skill is required.
4. Ability to work closely with CSO partners, government agencies and commitment to network mission.
5. Appreciable M&E experience will be an add advantage.
6. Computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
7. Good interpersonal skills including ability to work with multiple stakeholders successfully and to create linkages between organizations, communities and medical facilities;
8. Experience in strategic planning amongst multiple stakeholders.
9. Demonstrated commitment to gender responsive programming.
10. Proven ability to develop successful proposals to public donors.
11. Working knowledge of and experience with GF, USG and other donor agencies.
12. Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
13. Capacity building, business development and negotiation skills.


B. Senior Program Officer (OVC)
The Senior Program Officer (OVC) will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the GF R9 phase 2 OVC SDA. The preferred candidate must be well versed in OVC programming, associated OVC SOPs, tools and quality related service standard within the context of the Nigerian response framework. S/he should be knowledgeable on NOMIS M&E package and good understanding of institutional capacity building, grant management, service delivery and proposal development. In addition, the candidate must be very good in documentation and reporting on donor projects.
Qualifications
