On Wednesday, June 15, 2005, I posted my article "The President Lied" on http://nigeriantimes..com/2005/06/president-lied.html when Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was the President of Nigeria and from 1999 to date, the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) has given us dishonest Presidents and the worst civilian administrations since the First Republic.

President Goodluck Jonathan who has learned from his godfather Obasanjo lied to an innocent 10-year-old Nigerian girl based in California, Miss Zuriel Oduwole in an interview during the 21st ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Africa Union holding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The comments on the report from Punch newspaper of Nigeria are enough to disgrace President Jonathan as a shameless liar.

The innocent girl who does not live in Nigeria was deceived by President Goodluck Jonathan who lied that his name Goodluck has brought good luck to Nigeria under his leadership.

“In terms of bringing my name to bear in Nigerian affairs, within this period, we have our challenges. Of course, you are aware that we have our security challenges. But in spite of the security challenges, the country is moving on. I will say yes, it brought some good luck to the country.”

If only Zuriel Oduwole could visit her fellow Nigerian children in Borno and brave the odds to spend just a night in Damaturu and experience what they are going through today?
When thousands of them do not even know it is Children's Day.

If there is anything those in Nigeria can tell the whole world is that the nightmares they are having in Nigeria today are even worse than the harrowing afflictions they suffered under President Olusegun Obasanjo.
But as we all know that living in denial is a common Nigerian disease.

If only Zuriel Oduwole knows that under President Goodluck Jonathan:

More thousands of Nigerians killed in political and religious conflicts under him than any previous head of
state since the Nigerian civil war?

With more Nigerians becoming jobless than ever before?

With his brother dying in the State House and his wife suffering terrible health problems than other First Ladies before her?

With innocent people collapsing and dying whilst his wife was sharing bags of rice for his political campaigns?

With more police officers ambushed and murdered in his own home state of Bayelsa State than ever before?

With unprecedented floods rendering thousands of Nigerians homeless and scores killed under his watch?

With many innocent northerners becoming refugees in neighboring states and other countries under his watch?

With more churches burnt and more Christians murdered by Islamic terrorists under his watch?

With more mass failures in examinations for both secondary schools and tertiary institutions under his watch?

With worse air disasters under his watch?

shame on you, this post died a natural death.
